In order to best explain our weekend at the Grand Food and Wine Affair, we must quote the great columnist Erma Bombeck, "Seize the moment. Think of all those women on the 'Titanic' who waved off the dessert cart."

And we sure seized the moment, and seized the sushi and seized the prime rib and seized tons of wine and seized… well you’ll see the videos.

We began Day 1 at the Sugarland Marriot’s Grand Ballroom for The Grand Tasting. Wow. The room was filled with wineries and chefs from all over the country. They were offering everything we could possibly dream of; tables and tables of cheese, wine glasses that magically refilled, shot glasses filled with BEEF, desserts galore and our biggest fan Josh Watkins, Executive Chef at the Carillon, who traveled all the way to Houston to serve the Foodie Girls his famous Pork Belly…
