With Thanksgiving around the corner, some of you may be thinking of who to share your feast with this year. The Foodie Girls encourage you to think of those who have nothing and no one.

More than 1.7 million Los Angeles County residents struggle with hunger,  more than in any other county in America, according to Feeding America, the country's largest network of food banks.
There are ways to help! The California Association of Food Banks is always  in need of food this time of year. Most food banks have websites that will have "wish lists" posted so you can get an idea of things they are most in need of. If not, you can always give them a call and ask. Mostly, non-perishable food items are always good.
